2020 OL Denis Commits at Paradise Camp
South Dade 2020 three-star offensive guard Jonathan Denis kept the good news going for the Hurricanes on the first day of UM’s Paradise Camp giving a verbal pledge to Mark Richt & Co. just an hour after his two high school teammates – 2020 defensive backs Keshawn Washington and Jaiden Francois – did.

“We’re making the crib great again,” Denis told InsideTheU in a message.

Denis, who is ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s 11 offensive guard for the next cycle, picked Miami over offered from Georiga, Florida State, LSU, Kentucky, Nebraska, N.C. State, Oregon, Mississippi State and Florida. He got a private tour of campus with his family on Friday and spent plenty of time with offensive line coach Stacy Searels.

“I grew up watching Canes football my whole life,” Denis previously said. “That’s all I knew — ‘Canes football. I didn’t know nothing else besides C’anes football until I really like — even before I started getting into football that’s what I watched, UM, when I was a kid. And you can ask any of my teammates.”
