2020 WR Robinson Commits Following Paradise Camp
Palm Beach Central 2020 Top100 wide receiver Bryan Robinson told InsideTheU on Sunday that he gave a verbal pledge Hurricanes after spending the weekend in Coral Gables at Mark Richt’s annual Paradise Camp which featured UM legends like former defensive tackle Warren Sapp, former linebacker Jon Beason, former linebacker Jonathan Vilma, former offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie, former wide receiver Lamar Thomas, former defensive back Bennie Blades, and former running back Clinton Portis as guest coaches.

“I feel like it’s the best decision for me,” Robinson said. “I knew that for a while, but I just didn’t make a commitment and make it official until [Saturday night]. There’s nothing not to like about Miami. I love everything about Miami.”

Robinson, who is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 16 wide receiver for the next cycle, also held early offers from Georgia, Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee, Louisville, Florida, USF and Kentucky. He said that Ron Dugans is one of the big reasons why he’s committed.

“I love the way he coaches. He’s a good guy and someone that I really like.”

Robinson also likes what Dugans has done with guys like Ahmmon Richards over the years.

“Hopefully I can have a freshman season like he did.”

The rising junior becomes the fifth underclassman to commit to the Hurricanes this weekend joining South Dade 2020 trio of Jonathan Denis, Keshawn Washington and Jaiden Francois and Booker T. Washington 2021 defensive end Donell Harris. He’ also commit No. 12 for UM in a 2020 class that currently sits No. 1 on the industry-generated composite rankings.
