11/2/09 - Miami Booker T. Washington running back Eduardo Clements silently committed to the University of Miami prior to the start of the 2009 football season. He knew that he wanted to be a Hurricane but also figured he would experience the show business that has become major college recruiting. Clements visualized himself in front of rolling television cameras and bright lights on National Signing Day, a crowd of reporters sitting in the audience with his hushed classmates, awaiting word on which school was his choice.

But there was one thing Clements didn't realize, and that was the degree of commotion in a kid's life that recruiting creates - constant phone calls and questions, hundreds of people looking for insight into what he might be thinking. That craziness, as much as anything, is why Clements decided Tuesday morning that he would publicly proclaim his allegiance to the Hurricanes, revealing that he will become the fourth back in a priority position for Miami in the 2010 signing class.
